OUR MISSION<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1570\">Valor exists to protect, empower, and connect users to instant emergency support like armed response, medical teams and safety monitoring, all initiated by voice command.&nbsp;While we strive to respond with superhero speed, Valor functions as a technology platform that facilitates emergency communication and coordination. Valor itself does not provide direct medical or armed services.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1575\">\n<h2 data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1604\">3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1693\">By downloading, installing, registering, or using the Valor Super App or website, you:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"2013\">\n<li data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1781\">\n<p data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1781\">Confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or using the app with guardian consent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1830\">\n<p data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"1830\">Accept and agree to comply with these Terms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"2013\">\n<p data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"2013\">Consent to our <strong data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1866\">Privacy Policy<\/strong>, which governs how we handle personal data under <strong data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"1925\">POPIA<\/strong> (Protection of Personal Information Act, South Africa) and <strong data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"1993\">GDPR<\/strong> (European Union).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2015\" data-end=\"2018\">\n<h2 data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2044\">4. SCOPE OF SERVICE<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2081\">The Valor platform enables you to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2373\">\n<li data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2146\">\n<p data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2146\">Trigger emergency alerts through voice or manual activation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2231\">\n<p data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2231\">Share your geolocation with our command centre and authorised response partners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2311\">\n<p data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2311\">Communicate during active emergencies for assistance and dispatch purposes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2373\">\n<p data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2373\">Access subscription-based safety and protection features.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2573\">While we take every measure to ensure reliability, network conditions, device compatibility or third-party failures may occasionally affect performance. Valor\u2019s powers are vast but not limitless.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2575\" data-end=\"2578\">\n<h2 data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"2609\">5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2610\" data-end=\"2667\">To keep Valor functioning with precision, you agree to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"3027\">\n<li data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"2746\">\n<p data-start=\"2670\" data-end=\"2746\">Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and setup.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2747\" data-end=\"2799\">\n<p data-start=\"2749\" data-end=\"2799\">Maintain your account credentials in confidence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2800\" data-end=\"2865\">\n<p data-start=\"2802\" data-end=\"2865\">Test the app regularly to ensure it functions on your device.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2866\" data-end=\"2936\">\n<p data-start=\"2868\" data-end=\"2936\">Use the service only for genuine emergencies or permitted testing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2937\" data-end=\"3027\">\n<p data-start=\"2939\" data-end=\"3027\">Avoid misuse, including false alarms, data tampering, or unauthorised access attempts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3029\" data-end=\"3172\">Misuse of Valor or false panic activations may result in account suspension, fees from response partners or legal action under applicable law.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3174\" data-end=\"3177\">\n<h2 data-start=\"3179\" data-end=\"3207\">6. SUBSCRIPTIONS &amp; FEES<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3208\" data-end=\"3322\">Valor operates on a subscription basis via direct purchase, bank or insurer partnership or corporate inclusion.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3323\" data-end=\"3594\">\n<li data-start=\"3323\" data-end=\"3426\">\n<p data-start=\"3325\" data-end=\"3426\">Subscription fees, renewal periods and cancellation terms are determined by your provider or plan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3427\" data-end=\"3495\">\n<p data-start=\"3429\" data-end=\"3495\">Failure to maintain payment may result in suspension of service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3496\" data-end=\"3594\">\n<p data-start=\"3498\" data-end=\"3594\">All fees are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise specified.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3596\" data-end=\"3715\">Refunds or cancellations follow the <strong data-start=\"3632\" data-end=\"3665\">Consumer Protection Act (CPA)<\/strong> and any applicable third-party provider policies.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3717\" data-end=\"3720\">\n<h2 data-start=\"3722\" data-end=\"3760\">7. EMERGENCY RESPONSE LIMITATIONS<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3761\" data-end=\"3917\">Valor acts as a <strong data-start=\"3777\" data-end=\"3803\">technology facilitator<\/strong> between you and licensed emergency response providers.<\/p><p data-start=\"3761\" data-end=\"3917\">While our systems are designed for accuracy and speed:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3918\" data-end=\"4199\">\n<li data-start=\"3918\" data-end=\"3997\">\n<p data-start=\"3920\" data-end=\"3997\">We cannot guarantee the response time or outcome of third-party responders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3998\" data-end=\"4086\">\n<p data-start=\"4000\" data-end=\"4086\">Valor\u2019s services depend on mobile signal, data connectivity, and device performance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4087\" data-end=\"4199\">\n<p data-start=\"4089\" data-end=\"4199\">Users are encouraged to ensure that location services and microphone permissions remain active at all times.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4201\" data-end=\"4383\">Valor and BYY Strategic Services (Pty) Ltd are not liable for delays, non-performance or indirect damages arising from network, hardware or third-party failures during emergencies.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4385\" data-end=\"4388\">\n<h2 data-start=\"4390\" data-end=\"4423\">8. PRIVACY &amp; DATA PROTECTION<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4424\" data-end=\"4782\">Your privacy is our oath of honour. Valor complies with both <strong data-start=\"4485\" data-end=\"4494\">POPIA<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"4499\" data-end=\"4507\">GDPR<\/strong>, ensuring your personal data is processed lawfully, transparently, and securely.&nbsp;For full details on how your data is collected, stored, and used, please refer to our <strong data-start=\"4677\" data-end=\"4695\">Privacy Policy<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valor.co.za\/privacy-policy.\">https:\/\/www.valor.co.za\/privacy-policy.<\/a><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4784\" data-end=\"4787\">\n<h2 data-start=\"4789\" data-end=\"4818\">9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4819\" data-end=\"5097\">All Valor content, including the app, website design, logos, trademarks, software, and written materials are owned or licensed by <strong data-start=\"4952\" data-end=\"4988\">BYY Strategic Services (Pty) Ltd<\/strong>.&nbsp;You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of Valor without written permission.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"5099\" data-end=\"5102\">\n<h2 data-start=\"5104\" data-end=\"5147\">10. TERMINATION &amp; ACCOUNT CANCELLATION<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5148\" data-end=\"5209\">We may suspend or terminate access to Valor immediately if:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"5210\" data-end=\"5344\">\n<li data-start=\"5210\" data-end=\"5237\">\n<p data-start=\"5212\" data-end=\"5237\">You breach these Terms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5238\" data-end=\"5285\">\n<p data-start=\"5240\" data-end=\"5285\">Your subscription lapses or remains unpaid.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5286\" data-end=\"5344\">\n<p data-start=\"5288\" data-end=\"5344\">Your use poses a risk to Valor systems or other users.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"5346\" data-end=\"5587\">You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time by following the steps in the app or contacting <strong data-start=\"5462\" data-end=\"5482\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"5464\" data-end=\"5480\">info@valor.co.za<\/a><\/strong>. Upon cancellation, some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"5589\" data-end=\"5592\">\n<h2 data-start=\"5594\" data-end=\"5612\">11. LIABILITY<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"5613\" data-end=\"5654\">To the fullest extent permitted by law:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"5655\" data-end=\"6019\">\n<li data-start=\"5655\" data-end=\"5797\">\n<p data-start=\"5657\" data-end=\"5797\"><strong data-start=\"5657\" data-end=\"5693\">BYY Strategic Services (Pty) Ltd<\/strong> shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Valor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5798\" data-end=\"5903\">\n<p data-start=\"5800\" data-end=\"5903\">We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or response times of third-party emergency providers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5904\" data-end=\"6019\">\n<p data-start=\"5906\" data-end=\"6019\">Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"6021\" data-end=\"6124\">Valor is a safety ally but not a substitute for sound judgment or responsible action in an emergency.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"6126\" data-end=\"6129\">\n<h2 data-start=\"6131\" data-end=\"6166\">12. INTERNATIONAL USERS &amp; GDPR<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"6167\" data-end=\"6427\">If you access or use Valor outside South Africa, your information may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions.&nbsp;Valor ensures such transfers comply with <strong data-start=\"6333\" data-end=\"6341\">GDPR<\/strong> adequacy standards or equivalent safeguards to protect your data wherever it travels.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"6429\" data-end=\"6432\">\n<h2 data-start=\"6434\" data-end=\"6456\">13.
